I courageously deliver keynotes because I love sharing insights to help others grow personally and professionally. I have built a great, diverse team to help businesses scale by providing consulting services that are backed by our collective experience. Mine is in tech and financial services through 25+ years at Hewlett-Packard and USAA. Not only have I spent years in executive leadership, strategic transformation, and portfolio management across various enterprise functions, but I have also been a vital component in launching and leading diversity and inclusion networks to establish environments for people in all walks of life to succeed. By inspiring others through sharing our journeys we help them see their true value to reach their potential.
Family & Education
I am a first-generation Latina, the youngest of eight children, born and raised in Eagle Pass, TX. I now live in San Antonio with my husband and three children. Receiving a bachelor’s degree from MIT in Management Science with focuses on IT and Finance and a minor in Economics was a dream come true. I later earned an MBA from the University of Texas San Antonio and completed a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Certificate from the University of South Florida. I'm Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified and SAFe/Agile trained. My top Clifton strengths are strategic, learner and relator. The strategist in me helps to break down complex work into high-value action plans. As a lifelong learner, I help teams tackle problems by continually reskilling myself and others. My relator skills help me be an effective coach and mentor.
Community Advocate
Non-profit board member, scholarship founder, and active volunteer are all roles that describe me. Since a young age, I have always paid it forward. I am passionate about advancing higher education in underserved communities, improving gender, racial and other forms of equity across organizations, and serving the homeless and our military through their transitions. Partnering with organizations like Girls Inc, SHPE, Junior Achievement, cafécollege, and AthenaRacing makes it fun to invest in our future talent.
